We at Southern Oregon Printing are celebrating 30 years of providing quality printing and excellent service this year. The values we stress in establishing our printing business in 1979 have remained of utmost importance to us. We, Ray and Karen Gale, moved to Medford from Glendale, California, to find a better environment for ourselves and our five children. The economic environment in 1979 and 1980 was challenging, similar to the conditions most businesses are facing today. But determination and hard work have reaped their rewards. Also Ray's background as controller of accounting in a big firm in Pasadena, California, was a tremendous asset.
The importance of community service and networking groups has clearly influenced our success. The Chamber, Greeters, Rotary, Rogue Valley Professionals Association, Business Network International, and Soroptimists are wonderful community, and networking groups of which we are members.
We are grateful to our loyal customers who have been with us for so many years. Integrity has been a key ingredient in dealing with each and every customer, vendor and associate. Our gratitude is also extended to our long-time employees for their loyalty and hard work. They are a huge part of our success. Most businesses have fierce competition, ours included.
